General and product

  • Use the size chart on the product page. Measure your back from neck to waistline. If you're between two sizes, choose the larger one for extra freedom of movement.

  • Yes, the back protectors are designed to fit comfortably under your ski or snowboard jacket.

  • Yes, the thermal shirts are perfect to wear loosely during winter sports or other outdoor activities.

  • Remove the protector pad and belly band. Wipe the protector pad and belly band with a damp cloth. The thermal shirt can go in the washing machine at 30 degrees, do not put it in the dryer.

  • The standard Spines back protectors are primarily designed for winter sports, but they can also provide extra protection for other sports. Additionally, we have specifically designed protectors for a few other sports. Always check the safety standards.

  • They meet CE EN 1621-2 Level 1 or 2, the European standard for impact protection.

  • A back protector reduces the risk of injury in case of a fall or collision. More and more winter sports enthusiasts are wearing a back protector, just like a helmet.

  • No, they are flexible and light, you hardly notice you're wearing it.

  • They are for everyone. Both beginners and advanced users benefit from extra protection.

Order and payment

  • iDEAL, credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Klarna pay later.

  • That can be done as long as your order hasn't been shipped yet. Please contact us as soon as possible via info@spines.nl.

  • After you click on 'checkout', you'll get the option to enter a discount code. Enter the code and click on 'apply', the discount will be applied immediately.

Shipping and delivery

  • Orders placed on weekdays before 3:00 PM will be shipped the same day.

    One of our delivery partners will deliver the order to your home as soon as possible. Below is an overview of the average delivery days per country.

    Belgium 1-3 days
    Europe 2-5 days

  • Yes, you will receive a track & trace link as soon as your order has been shipped.

  • Free on orders over 85 euros. Below that, 4.95 euros.

  • We deliver worldwide.

Returns and refunds

  • You have 14 days to change your mind. Register your return via our return portal. Product must be unworn and in original condition.

  • The return costs are €4,95.

  • Fill in the return form .

  • After receiving and checking the product, we will refund the amount within 5 working days.
