Spines ambassadors

Our ambassadors know better than anyone the impact spinal cord injury can have. By sharing their experiences, they hope to raise more awareness about the impact of spinal cord injury and the importance of further research. Together, we want to make sports safer for everyone.

Isa

Isa (21) was doing an internship in Austria for her hospitality management program when she fell while skiing in February 2025. It was a sunny day and, as often on such days, she decided to go up the mountain with a classmate. Because of the bright sun, she couldn't see the depth on the slopes well and flew over a little hill, landing on her back. She knew right away that something was wrong.

David

David (35) built a career in hospitality after studying accounting, a social study, and attending both secondary and higher hotel school. During a winter sports holiday with friends, David had a serious fall. He sustained an incomplete spinal cord injury at the level of his eighth thoracic vertebra (T8). He also broke twelve ribs and three vertebrae and suffered a punctured lung.

Reduce the risk of back injury

Our ambassadors want to see everyone sports as safely as possible. Whether you're going skiing, horseback riding, mountain biking, or motorcycling, protection is crucial. With every Spines back protector, we contribute €15 to research on spinal cord injury.
